Welcomes You!

"There is no commUnIty without U and I."
Please Note:
This website and collective is a referral resource and networking community for mental health professionals in North Alabama.
We do not connect clients with mental health professionals.
How We Began
The Mental Health Professionals of North Alabama of founded in 2017 by Pamela L. Tippit, LPC-S and Christina Pannell, LICSW, PIP as a grassroots organization for the purpose of connecting, networking, and supporting local mental health practitioners.
Our Mission
The goal of MHPNA is to provide a local support network for multidisciplinary practitioners who treat mental health issues.
Who This Group Is For
This group is for Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners, Registered Dietitian, Psychiatrists, or any other person or agency who provides mental health services in the North Alabama area. As of this writing, we have 350 plus practitioners in our group from 5 different counties in North Alabama, ranging from private practice therapists to community agency providers to school counselors. We invite and encourage college students who are finishing their degree and who are looking for support or supervision as they begin their careers to join our group.
We are reaching out to the various college programs throughout North Alabama to let you know of this service and to extend our services to you and your students. We volunteer our time for this group. We are not a formal 501(c)3 and we do not charge dues. This is a free service that we have enjoyed providing to our community and we would love to partner with you and your program!
