My name is Calah Fite, and I am an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) at Downtown Behavioral Health in downtown in Huntsville, AL with 5 years of experience counseling children, adolescents, and young adults. I received my Masters in Human Developmental Counseling from Vanderbilt University after graduating from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Science in Social Entrepreneurship with a minor in Theology & The Arts in 2016.
My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, perfectionism. women's issues, grief, relationship issues, self sabotage/goal setting, trauma, boundaries, spirituality, and life-transitions for young adult women, adolescents, and children. My goal is to bring awareness and change so clients can exchange negative thought patterns and behaviors for a renewed sense of peace and wholeness.
My approach is integrative, holistic, spiritual, and relational. I pull from various therapeutic methods to tailor them to the needs of each individual client.
I am working under the supervision of Stacie Scherer-LPCS. While not counseling, my husband and I are newlyweds who attend and serve at Church of the Highlands and love playing music.
***Calah is currently accepting new clients in person or via telehealth.
